I am the communications specialist for the Tobacco Prevention and Control Section at DHS. I have a wealth of experience in health communications in both patient-centered and provider-colleague settings. For more than two decades, I created strategic content and meaningful connection within the realms of primary care, clinically integrated networks, long term care for older adults, and school-based mental health. In my role at TPCP, I work closely with our outside ad agency to create and monitor statewide public health campaigns related to tobacco prevention and cessation. I also collaborate closely with local health coalitions, agencies, and alliances across Wisconsin to provide compelling communications tools that will help advance the tobacco prevention and control movement and inspire healthy choices. I am a graduate of the University of Wisconsin in Madison, and I live in Neenah, Wisconsin, with my husband. Together we enjoy visiting our two college-age children, traveling, experimenting with new recipes, and hiking and kayaking. I especially love fine-tip Sharpies, all things Tudor history, propagating native plants from seed pods, and creating art. Please contact me for media relations assistance, wordsmithery, idea-bouncing, or simply to get to know one another. We already have a shared mission—just think of what we can do together!
